The crowd goes wild! (In my head)
For the last couple of weeks, I've been facing some health issues and pretty fairly unable to function at my full capacity (which is kind of a lot). Long story short, the symptoms are kind of pointing to a potential bacterial / viral infection ☹️ and now I'm feeling slightly ucky and waiting for some lab results from urgent care and a potential Rx. Thankfully, I tested negative for the ronie rona. 😅 Is that really a win, though? I'm excited to not have one virus, in the light of still potentially having another.
But there's always a silver lining, right?
Right now I'm celebrating (in my head) this little win that I have the time and a little bit of energy in this moment to blog.
I'm also pretty happy that I’ve finally posted my YouTube coverage from hiking Southern California's potentially gnarliest hike - Skyline Trail: Cactus to Clouds.
On the flip side, I've had to give up work this week in order to be a responsible citizen and prevent potentially getting others sick. Having to do so kind of shakes up my root chakra needs to be able to provide for myself, and I'm doing all I can to be optimistic. With that being said, if I ever post an affiliate link to something that you genuinely were looking for or could use, I really appreciate the support. I believe that we should be able to do what we love for a living, and if that's the kind of world you want to live in too, pay it forward 🙏🏽
Final, semi-unrelated thought. I'll be finishing up and posting my First Ever Highlander Adventure USA content soon, and I'm super excited to hear that they'll be announcing their 2023 U.S.A. events (plural ! 😍) soon. Use my discount code: CHER-HL10 for 10% off of ANY of their U.S.A. Adventures in 2023 🤠
That's all for now. Always remember to #dowhatyoulove
